Our QUEEN OF FRANCE is an absolute standout, boasting an outstanding physical presence and an exceptional pedigree. We’ve been big fans of this filly from the start, and she continues to impress.
She is a half-sister to several winners, including recent impressive winner, Miss Fireball. Her talent and pedigree have not gone unnoticed, attracting the attention of the famous training trio; The Hayes brothers.
She arrived at Lindsay Park, Euroa in good order and has entered training by one of the most respected operations in Australian racing. Exciting times ahead for this very exciting filly!

The QUEEN OF FRANCE was bred and raised on the gentle rolling contours and lush pastures of Curraghmore’s landscape in which they are so famously known. Curraghmore is a top class nursery for raising great racehorses.
QUEEN OF FRANCE is by NZ’s boom Sire Ace High, a recent addition to the NZ Stallion ranks. He was a dual Group 1 winner himself winning the Spring Champion Stakes and Victorian Derby and is a son for the famous High Chapparal Sire ine. Ace High himself was destined for breeding boasting a female side of his pedigree that holds a lot of depth; with the names of Redoutes Choice and Sunday Silence appearing in the first two Dams. QUEEN OF FRANCE is by far the best type of Ace High’s progeny I have seen, she has a lot of strength, length and an outstanding physical presence. QUEEN OF FRANCE’s race winning dam Pectoralis Major is by Pins, who has been a Champion top 3 NZ Broodmare Sire over the past decade. He provides a lot of substance as a Broodmare Sire, and combined with QUEEN OF FRANCE’s 3rd Dam, by Mr Prospector there is a lot of depth in her pedigree through generations. Every foal from the mare is a race winner and she has an exciting 1/2 sister in the Bill Thurlow trained Miss Fireball who won emphatically at Waverley.
What are
the plans
The QUEEN OF FRANCE pleased Riverrock Farm's top horseman & breaker Chad Ormsby while she was under his guidance. She spelled in the lush pastures of Lyndhurst Farm in Cambridge and did some light work before arriving at Lindsay Park.
She traveled exceptionally well to Euroa and has entered the training regime of the Hayes brothers and is taking to everything very well. They are very happy with her and are aiming her for a Melbourne Spring 3YO campaign.
How Is My Share Price Spent?
D D A P P (Due Diligence, Acquisition & Purchase Price)
Our Due Diligence, Acquistion & Purchase Price allocation covers expenses related to acquiring the horse, initial transportation costs, data and form analysis, scoping, veterinary checks, inspection costs, pedigree evaluation, market valuations and a 10% bloodstock agents fee. We make sure the athletes we invest in on your behalf will perform to the top level.
Frac Club Costs
This covers all Frac Club expenses so we can ensure the top performance of the equine athlete you have entrusted with us. We will make sure you have all communications from the Trainer, the Groom, The Data Guy, videos, audio, allocated space on course and a community environment to enjoy time with other Frac Club members; not limited to (ticketing, resourcing, event planning, customer service, horse preparation, stable liaising, etc) to ensure you know exactly what your equine athlete is doing at any point in time.
V A T Fund (Vet, Agistment & Training)
Like any athlete our equine superstar deserves every opportunity to perform to the best of their ability with the best trainers, vets, spelling farms, insurance and oversight. Rain, hail or shine your horse will be provided wiith the best of the best care and attention. We select the top in the business for your horse so we dont have to lay awake at night wondering about anything. No shortcuts have been taken; the best attention and care performs the best. These standard ongoing costs are included here, they are at cost price and managed by our Accountant Guru. Any of these costs not utilised throughout the horses career is held in each and every owners wallet upon retirement or sale.
M A D Fund (Marketing, Administration, Data)
We ensure your equine athlete is appropriately marketed to ensure sale in a timely fashion, all administration is completed on your behalf and you receive regular data analysis from our Data Guy; pre race, post race… important form updates. He is an absolute whistle and our results lay on his analysis. Not to mention our social media wizard will make sure you receive all communication updates in real time; as they happen. You are the most important human to our athlete and will be treated as such.
Big Brother
We make sure we have the funds on hand to ensure appropriate care of all accounting, invoicing, banking, auditing, stake money management and compliance expenditure is taken care of so Big Brother can sleep easy knowing everything is ticked off and in order.
Future Fund
We make sure our equine athletes carry on their post-racing lives with all of the love and care they receive while they are under our management. We set aside a percentage from every share to put towards their future beyond the racetrack. For all of the excitement and joy they have brought us throughout their development, on and off the track, we salute them into their next phase of life and have an allocated fund specifically for them to transition into that period.
